Team Kuryakyn Adds Two Sponsored Riders to its Roster
In addition to our recent helmet graphic sponsorship with Kyle Wyman, Kuryakyn has added two sponsored riders for the 2011 version of AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Series. Kyle and riders Gerry “Sigs” Signorelli (No. 88 from Colorado Springs) and Bryan “Desi” Desimone (No. 199 from St. Paul, Minn.) will make their debut this weekend at the Road America stop on the XR1200 Series in Elkhart Lake, Wis. Meet out newest teammates:
Gerry “Sigs” Signorelli: Under full sponsorship with Kuryakyn, California Superbike School race coach Sigs Signorelli has competed in every one of this year’s XR1200 events. Last year, he held the No. 1 plate in the Masters of the Mountains Series, along with a number of podium finishes in the USGPRU National Series in 2010. Sigs’ impressive list of sponsors include Bob Fier Racing, Racing for a Wish, Racetech, California Superbike School, EBC Brakes, Held Gloves, Suomy Helmets, Arthur’s Auto, Enchanted Signs, Chicken Hawk Racing and Woodcraft. Three years ago, Sigs started Racing for a Wish, which travels the country raising money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Bryan “Desi” Desimone: For our newest XR1200 Series competitor — Kurakyn’s own marketing coordinator Bryan Desi Desimone — 2011 marks his first exposure to the pro racing scene. Bryan is sponsored by Racing For A Wish, EBC Brakes, Held Gloves, Suomy Helmets, Ohlin’s Suspension and Kuryakyn.
Racing for a Wish will be donating a portion of Bryan and Gerry’s winnings to the Make a Wish foundation to help children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Catch Team Kurakyn this Saturday, June 4, at 9 p.m. Eastern time. And keep an eye out for all of the upcoming AMA Pro races online at http://www.amaproracing.com/rr/events.
