Sprint Build Battle Spotlight: Tytlers Cycle

Don’t tell the folks at Tytlers Cycle that a show bike can’t be a daily rider. Or vice versa. We affectionately dubbed their Sprint Build Battle entry “F³” as it combines form, function and finesse into one strikingly sexy package. Their focus was to build a bike that’s “equally at home carving up your favorite roads, or turning heads at bike night.” Mission accomplished. From fender to fender this bike has it all. Clean, classy and loaded with plenty of chrome components that look right at home paired with the deep burgundy metallic paint and subtle silver headdress on the tank. KURY: What was the inspiration behind your Sprint Scout build design?

TYTLERS: For anyone that has had a chance to ride the Scout, you know how impressive the performance is from this machine. The Sprint Signature Series from John Shope and Kuryakyn really allowed us to complement the performance of the Scout with bold visual lines. When the original Scout was introduced in 1919, it was reliable, fast and agile. It caused a lot of people to start riding motorcycles. With our build we wanted to play on a lot of those same great qualities in the new Scout. It puts a smile on your face while you twist the throttle and causes you to stop and look back at it when you walk away.

KURY: What is the one design feature your team is most proud of?

TYTLERS: We are very happy with the visual balance of the bike. The Sprint Signature Series accessories do a lot of the heavy lifting in changing the attitude of the motorcycle. We wanted to build on those accessories with subtle changes that enrich the look without being distracting. The accessories were selected based on their solid look, which worked together nicely with the bold lines of the Sprint accessories. The Crusher exhaust visually helps draw the eyes through the bike while providing a great v-twin soundtrack. No iPod needed with this ride. Finally, we tied it all together with custom chrome badges, chrome wheels and burgundy metallic paint.

KURY: What do you like about the Kuryakyn Signature Series Sprint parts?

TYTLERS: One of the biggest challenges that can exist with accessories, particularly body panel accessories, is issues with fit and finish. When those types of issues exist, it is time consuming to fix and can leave clients disappointed with the final product. The Kuryakyn Sprint Signature Series parts are a completely different story. Right out of the box these parts are ready to go with no fitment issues at all. For a little investment you can really change the look of your ride with a truly high quality product from Kuryakyn.

KURY: Tell us about your dealership – why should riders visit your store?

TYTLERS: Located between Green Bay and Appleton, Tytlers Cycle is Northeast Wisconsin’s home for Indian Motorcycle, Ducati, BMW and Victory Motorcycles. We are proud to represent Kuryakyn products in our showroom and on many of our project bikes. We have certified technicians in all the brands we carry. If you are looking to take the performance of your ride to the next level, we are a DynoJet-certified tuning center with an onsite dyno room. We work every day to build a better motorcycle shop for our clients. Whether you are new to riding or a seasoned rider, we are here to provide the gear, accessories, service and, most important, the best client experience we can for our clients.
